Reflection

Experience:
In the typography course, I need to learn how to choose appropriate fonts, font sizes and word spacing, as well as how to adjust line spacing and paragraph spacing to achieve the overall design effect. In addition, I need to learn how to manipulate and optimise images to adapt them to the page layout and enhance the visual appeal of the design.

Typography is not just about laying out text and images, but also taking into account the user's visual perception and experience. In the typography course, I can learn some basic visual cognition principles, such as colour matching, shape contrast, spatial perception, etc., and how to apply these principles to typography design to enhance the user's reading and using experience.
Observation:
Typography is not just about laying out text and images, but also taking into account the user's visual perception and experience. In the typography course, I can learn some basic visual cognition principles, such as colour matching, shape contrast, spatial perception, etc., and how to apply these principles to typography design to enhance the user's reading and using experience.
 The typography course will also provide some opportunities for creative thinking and practice. I can demonstrate my design skills and creativity by designing a variety of pages in different styles, such as books, magazines, posters, etc. In addition, the typography course may also involve some practical projects, such as producing brochures and magazines, etc. By completing these projects, I can practise my problem-solving skills and increase my practical design experience.
Finding:
the typography course is an important part of my career as a design student. By learning the principles of typography, proficiently using typographic tools, mastering text and image processing skills, learning about visual cognition and user experience, and exercising creative thinking and practical skills, I can gain a wealth of experience and reflections in the field of typography, and enhance my design ability and career competitiveness.

Usability refers to how effectively, efficiently, and successfully a particular user can utilise a product or design in a certain situation. It is a part of User Experience (UX) Design. It is the second level of UX Design A design’s usability depends on how well its features accommodate users’ needs and contexts. Key Principle of Usability 1. Consistency 2. Simplicity 3.
